Rita Rolo Morais will make her House debut at Theater Aachen in May 2025 as Kater in Xavier Montsalvatge’s Der gestiefelte Kater, with musical direction by Timo Handschuh and staging by Maren Schäfer.

In the 2024/25 season, Rita has made her debut in the roles of Pamina in Die Kleine Zauberflöte, as well as as Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel.

The portuguese Soprano is currently finishing her Master's degree in Musiktheater (Opera) with Professor Gideon Poppe at the HfMT Köln, in Germany.

Rita discovered her passion for music at an early age and began playing the violin at the age of six. She completed her Bachelor's degree at ESMAE, Porto, Portugal, with Professor Rui Taveira, graduating with distinction.
