The Portuguese soprano Rita Rolo Morais is making her debut with the Kölner Opernkiste in Die Kleine Zauberflöte as Pamina, as well as in Hänsel und Gretel as Gretel, both in adapted Kinderoper versions, in the 2024/25 season.

She is currently finishing her Master's degree in Musiktheater under Professor Gideon Poppe at the HfMT Köln, Germany.

Rita discovered her passion for music at an early age and began playing the violin at the age of six. She completed her Bachelor's degree at ESMAE, Porto, Portugal, under Professor Rui Taveira, graduating with the highest honors.
